Buffer Tube for Bare Fiber Protection. The buffer tube is used for bare fiber cables. The function of buffer tubes is to cover 900µm legs as required to field-install connectors on bare fibers. There are indoor and outdoor buffer tubes are available and are specifically designed for protection the termination of bare fibers. These tube provide the ultimate solution for the field termination of loose tube cables by means of a compact easy to install assembly not requiring additional hardware or space than that required for terminating tight buffered cables. Can be widely used for fiber optic transfer box, optical distribution frame, protection of the optical bare fiber in the light transfer box and the fiber optic after peeled. It is can effectively avoid damage and fold of fiber optic. To protect of bare fiber in the light transfer box and the fiber optic after peeled.
Features
Optic fiber heat shrinkable sleeves is used to protect the fiber optic joints. Move the heat shrink sleeves to the fiber optic connector, let the melting point of the heat shrinkable sleeves in the middle, gently straighten the fiber connector, put into the heater and heating. The EVA inner tube is melted, and the polyethylene pipe is tightly sleeved on the connecting optic fiber after shrinking. Since there is a stainless steel rod in the tube, it not only increases the tensile strength (1000~2300g). At the same time, can protective the fiber from being bending.
